These Terms of Use govern your use of Meriem and provide important information about the Meriem Service. By creating a Meriem account or using Meriem, you agree to these terms. The Meriem Service is one of the Meriem products offered to you by VISIONQUIET. These Terms of Use constitute an agreement between you and VISIONQUIET.

Meriem is a platform that allows you to explore the meanings of your dreams and embark on an inner journey. Our application provides personal guidance and emotional support through AI-powered dream interpretations. However, it is important to remember that dream interpretations are solely a guidance tool and do not provide any definitive information about the future. Meriem presents dream interpretations as a tool for entertainment and personal growth.

Dream interpretations on Meriem are personal analyses generated by artificial intelligence based on the dream text entered by the user. Interpretations are entirely algorithm-based and are intended to provide meaning to dreams, offer personal insights, and supply emotional guidance. These interpretations are imaginative and entertaining in nature and do not predict future events in any way. Meriem's dream interpretations may not be suitable for children or individuals lacking mental capacity. While dream interpretations aim to offer a personal experience, they carry different meanings for each individual and do not offer certainty. Users must respect the entertaining nature of the interpretations and not shape their lives accordingly.

All content used during the dream interpretation process is entirely the responsibility of the USER. Users acknowledge that the dream texts they submit to Meriem will be used in generating interpretations and stories related to the dream content. Interpretations provided by artificial intelligence may lead to misunderstandings by users. Therefore, it is important not to use dream interpretations as a guidance tool and not to direct your life based on them.

This process is purely for informational and awareness purposes, and we wish to emphasize that the interpretations provided to users carry no scientific, medical, or prophetic value.

Terms of Use and Data Policy

Before you start using the Meriem application, we want you to understand how we interact with you, how we collect your data, and how we use it. Below you will find some basic rules you must follow when using Meriem, as well as the responsibilities you share with us.

Your Commitments to Using Meriem's Services

• To use Meriem (whether paid or free), you agree that you must be at least 18 years old, or if you are a minor, you must have the legal consent of your parents or guardian.
• You must not be prohibited by applicable laws from receiving any part of our Service or from interacting with payment-related Services if you are on a valid blocked party list.
• Your account must not have been previously closed due to violation of our laws or any of our policies.
• You may not impersonate others or provide false information. You are required to provide accurate information to Meriem.
• You may not sabotage the dream interpretation service or write any sentence outside your dream content that could mislead the Artificial Intelligence. YOU MAY NOT USE ANY PROFANITY OR OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE.
• You may not do anything that would interfere with or adversely affect the intended operation of the Service.
• You may not attempt to create accounts, access information, or collect data through unauthorized means.
• Users are fully responsible for the content they upload to the Meriem application. Users:
  • Agree that the dreams they share during dream interpretation processes do not contain accurate or sensitive personal information.
  • Acknowledge that they are solely responsible for any content shared within the application.
• The Meriem application is not designed for children under 13. Users under the age of 13 must obtain parental consent to use Meriem.
• You agree that we may download and install updates to our software on your device.
• You agree not to modify, create derivative works, reverse engineer, or otherwise engage in any conduct that infringes our intellectual property rights.
• Meriem accepts no responsibility for the consequences arising from user information falling into the hands of malicious parties as a result of attacks on the database and the misuse of such information.
• Meriem does not guarantee the accuracy of the content provided through the application. The application:
  • Aims to provide an entertaining experience.
  • Does not provide health or psychological advice.
  • Users who experience any health issues related to the application content should consult a professional.
• Meriem reserves the right to cancel user memberships, services, or accounts without providing a reason.
• Users agree not to use the platform for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized activities. If any misuse is detected:
  • Accounts may be suspended.
  • Accounts may be permanently closed.
• Content written by users on the Meriem platform must absolutely not violate any laws. Users:
  • Must not share content that is harmful to personal identities in any way.
  • Must not share content that is defamatory or contrary to general moral standards.
  • If any activity constituting a crime under the law is detected, the relevant authorities will be informed, and this will only be carried out in accordance with legal requirements.
• Copyright and intellectual property rights will be respected on the Meriem platform and its software. Users:
  • Accept responsibility for any copyright infringement that may arise from content they upload to the platform.
  • Accordingly, no claims or liabilities can be directed against Meriem.
• Meriem and its users are legally completely independent parties.
• By using the interactive areas on the site or application, the user:
  • May not share content contrary to local and national laws or international agreements.
  • May not create or encourage any situation that may constitute a crime or require legal action.
  • May not write illegal, threatening, disturbing, or defamatory content in the dream entry field.
  • May not submit profane, degrading, vulgar, pornographic, or immoral content.

Removal of Content or Disabling Your Account

We reserve the right to cancel your account if we believe that content or information you have submitted to the Service violates these Terms of Use or our policies, or as permitted by law. We may also immediately stop or refuse to provide the Service to you in whole or in part (including account closure) where required or permitted by law, in cases of repeated intellectual property rights violations, or to protect our services. In the event of account closure, we will notify you where required. If you believe your account has been incorrectly closed, please contact us at support@visionquiet.com.

Our Agreement and What Happens in Case of Disputes

• If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the agreement will remain in effect.
• Any changes or waivers to our agreement must be made in writing and signed by us. Our failure to enforce any provision of this agreement shall not be deemed a waiver.
• All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us.

Who Has Rights Under This Agreement

This agreement does not grant any rights to any third party. You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under this agreement to others without our permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations to others — for example, in the event of a change in company ownership (such as a merger, sale of the company, or sale of assets) or as required by law.

Liability and Obligations

Our Service is provided "as is" and we cannot guarantee that it will always be safe, secure, or error-free. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We also cannot be held responsible for the actions and conduct of users or other third parties through our Service. Continued use of the Service thereafter will make you subject to the updated Terms. If you do not wish to accept these or the updated Terms, you may delete your account.
